Terms of Use

Last updated: 9 April 2026

Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Brightara Hub regarding your use of our website and services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our website or services.

About Our Services

Brightara Hub provides hobby discovery and connection services. We offer personalized consultations to help individuals identify hobbies aligned with their interests, lifestyle, and goals. We facilitate introductions to hobby communities, arrange trial experiences, and provide ongoing support as clients explore new pursuits.

Our services are advisory and facilitative in nature. We help you explore options and make connections, but ultimate decisions about which hobbies to pursue rest with you.

Eligibility

Our services are intended for individuals aged 18 and over who reside in the United Kingdom. By using our services, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

If you are using our services on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Service Engagement

Consultations

When you book a consultation, you agree to provide accurate information about your interests, availability, budget, and circumstances. The quality of our recommendations depends on the accuracy of information you share. You commit to attending scheduled appointments or providing reasonable notice if you need to reschedule.

Recommendations

We provide personalized recommendations based on our professional judgment and experience. However, these are suggestions rather than guarantees. We cannot promise that recommended hobbies will suit you perfectly or that you will enjoy them long-term. Individual preferences vary, and what works for most people may not work for everyone.

Community Connections

When we facilitate introductions to hobby groups or communities, we act as an intermediary. We are not responsible for the conduct, quality, safety, or practices of third-party organizations. You participate in these communities at your own discretion and risk.

Trial Experiences

For services involving trial experiences, we arrange sessions with experienced practitioners and may provide necessary equipment. You agree to follow safety instructions, treat provided equipment with care, and behave respectfully toward instructors and hosts.

Payment Terms

Service fees are as listed on our website and are subject to change. We will notify you of applicable fees before you commit to any service. Payment is typically required before consultations are scheduled, though alternative arrangements may be made for ongoing memberships or corporate programmes.

All fees are in British pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. We accept payment via methods specified during the booking process.

Refunds and Cancellations

You may cancel and receive a full refund if you notify us at least 48 hours before a scheduled consultation. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice are not eligible for refunds, though we may offer to reschedule at our discretion.

If you are dissatisfied with a consultation, we offer a full refund if requested within 14 days, provided you have not yet used additional services such as community connections or trial experiences arranged as a result.

For ongoing membership services, you may cancel at any time with one month notice. No refunds are provided for partial months.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Brightara Hub or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our written permission.

The Brightara Hub name and logo are our trademarks. You may not use them without authorization.

User Conduct

When using our website and services, you agree not to provide false or misleading information, use services for unlawful purposes, harass or harm our staff or other clients, attempt to interfere with website functionality, collect information about other users, impersonate others, or violate intellectual property rights.

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate relationships with individuals who violate these conduct standards.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy and GDPR information, which explain how we collect, use, and protect personal information. By using our services, you consent to data processing as described in those documents.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws.

Third-Party Relationships

We partner with hobby groups, instructors, communities, and other organizations to provide our services. These are independent third parties, and we are not responsible for their actions, omissions, services, or conduct. When we facilitate connections, you enter into direct relationships with these organizations. Any disputes, injuries, or issues arising from your participation in third-party activities should be addressed with those organizations.

We conduct reasonable due diligence when building our partner network but cannot guarantee the quality, safety, or suitability of every third-party organization.

Disclaimers and Limitations

No Guarantees

We provide services on an "as is" basis. While we strive for excellence, we do not guarantee that our recommendations will perfectly suit you, that you will enjoy recommended hobbies, that hobby communities will accept you as a member, that you will achieve specific outcomes, or that our services will meet all your expectations.

Website Availability

We aim to keep our website available and functional but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The website may be unavailable during maintenance, due to technical issues, or for other reasons beyond our control.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brightara Hub and its staff shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. This includes damages for lost profits, lost opportunities, emotional distress, or other intangible losses.

Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Assumption of Risk

Some hobbies involve inherent risks, including physical activities that could result in injury. While we consider safety when making recommendations, you assume responsibility for assessing risks and taking appropriate precautions. You should consult medical professionals before engaging in physically demanding activities, obtain appropriate instruction and supervision, use proper safety equipment, and ensure adequate insurance coverage for your chosen pursuits.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Brightara Hub, its staff, and partners from claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms, your use of our services, your participation in hobbies or communities we recommend, false or misleading information you provide, or your violation of any law or rights of others.

Testimonials and Feedback

We may request permission to use your feedback, testimonials, or case studies in our marketing materials. We will always obtain explicit written consent before using your words or story. You may withdraw consent at any time, and we will remove the content promptly.

Any feedback you provide about our services may be used to improve our offerings without compensation to you.

Confidentiality

Information you share during consultations is treated as confidential, subject to exceptions outlined in our Privacy Policy. We will not disclose details of your conversations without your permission, except when sharing information with third-party organizations to facilitate introductions you've agreed to, when required by law, or to protect safety in emergency situations.

Changes to Services

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue aspects of our services at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes that affect existing clients. If we discontinue a service you've paid for, we will provide a pro-rata refund for unused portions.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use periodically to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or business operations. We will post updated terms on our website with a revised date. For material changes, we will notify active clients via email.

Continued use of our services after changes indicates acceptance of updated terms. If you disagree with changes, you should discontinue using our services.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you may have additional statutory rights under consumer protection law, which these terms do not affect.

Dispute Resolution

If you have concerns or disputes regarding our services, please contact us first. We are committed to resolving issues amicably and fairly. Most concerns can be addressed through direct communication.

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, you may pursue formal legal remedies. We prefer mediation or arbitration over litigation when possible to resolve disputes efficiently and cost-effectively.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining terms continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy and GDPR information, constitute the entire agreement between you and Brightara Hub regarding our services and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or our right to enforce it in the future. Waivers must be in writing to be effective.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to another entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, provided the assignee agrees to honor these terms.

Contact Information

If you have questions about these Terms of Use or any aspect of our services, please contact us at [email protected] or write to us at Brightara Hub, 15 Broad Street, Oxford OX1 3AS, United Kingdom.

Corporate Programmes

Organizations engaging our corporate wellbeing programmes may be subject to additional terms outlined in separate agreements. Where conflicts exist between these general terms and specific corporate agreements, the corporate agreement provisions prevail.

We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, labor disputes, or technical failures. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule consultations or provide alternative arrangements.

Accessibility

We strive to make our website and services accessible to everyone. If you encounter accessibility barriers, please contact us so we can work to address them. We are committed to reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
